Our 2014-2015 School Year at a Glance

So school is out (for me included), so I thought I'd post a huge update on what we've been up to over the past year. I'll start from the beginning of the school year (August 2014) and go all the way up to the present date.

Davey & Scarlett ready for their first spirit day.
I was room mom in Scarlett's class this year. Here's one of the displays we did for grandparent's day.
Scarlett took professional pictures in my wedding dress. Most likely she won't wear my wedding dress as a bride, so why not have some adorable (priceless) pictures of her in it as a young girl? I'm so happy we decided to do this photo shoot!
Davey and Scarlett enjoyed another season of dove hunting.
Brandon & I had a wonderful weekend away in Cambria. We stayed at our Uncle Greg and Aunt Holly's home (no kids!). There was lots of wine tasting.

Holly and I got to go horse back riding on the beach...so fun!
Scarlett lost her first tooth while we were away!
Davey & Scarlett went on all the same field trips together this school year. So fun!
Davey did his first big school project. A book report along with an oral presentation. He chose Fly Guy. The visual is a pumpkin he painted to look like Fly Guy.
His presentation was on the same day as Literacy Day at school. Davey dressed as Buzz from Fly Guy, and Scarlett dressed as Fancy Nancy.
Most Thursday's during the fall semester Colton went to preschool. Here he is on his first day of preschool.
For Halloween this year we had princess Ariel, Jack from the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas", and a monkey.
Scarlett was in The Nutcracker Ballet.
Here's a glimpse of Scarlett about to go on stage.
We had dinner after the show with family.
Here's a newspaper article that she was in.
Scarlett had her birthday party at Pump It Up with all her family and some friends.

The older 2 kids were in their school Christmas program, and all 3 were in our church's Christmas program.
Here's Colton in his first Christmas program!
Here's Davey,
Scarlett was apart of a Trio during Immanuel Elementary's Christmas concert. We were completely surprised. She kept it a secret from us.
Just a cute picture of the 3 kiddos. Davey & Scarlett were about to head off to school.
A couple of days after Christmas we headed off to Pismo for our annual New Year's Trip at Pismo Beach!

The Flaming & Edwards' kids all hanging out on New Year's Eve.
Davey received a book club award just about every month (he missed 2 months in the spring thanks to being sick with the flu 3X in a row). He also received an academic award in reading.

We went to Disneyland! That trip will have a post all on it's own!
The kids on Valentine's Day. Who's crazy 3rd child is that?! ;)
Annual daddy-daughter Valentine's date.
Just a cute picture of Colton.

Race for Excellence was a huge success. We want to thank everyone for their support. The kids were at the top of their class in donations, and got to go on a limo ride to lunch with their principle!
Scarlett is doing great in ballet, and gearing up for her recital in mid-June.
The zoo field trip was so much fun! I chaperoned and had a great time with both Davey & Scarlett.
T-ball season has come to an end. Davey just finished his last game of year.
Davey was chosen to be in the spelling bee! He ended up winning 3rd place.

For Davey's birthday he also got to have some of his friends over after school.

The last day of school was filled with an awards assembly and a kindergarten celebration ceremony.
Davey earned a trophy for reading over 175 books (182 total), and an academic honors award for earning good grades the entire year. We're so proud of him!

Scarlett earned a trophy for reading over 100 books (such a huge accomplishment for a kindergartner!)

That's all folks! Our year at a glance.
